Ranger Rom saves Rhino Reth

The picture book is finally here! And just in time for Christmas.

Ranger Rom Hi guys! The wonderful book has been published. You can easily find it on our Ranger Rom’s Shop or any major online book shop like Amazon.

Romiko Yes Ranger Rom! I really hope you enjoy the book, and you’re welcome to leave feedback, right here on our blog site.

A bit about the book…

Ranger Rom saves Rhino Reth front cover

The picture book is targeted at young children, and is definitely a fun read for kids of all ages (including the big kids at heart).

The story follows Ranger Rom and friends on a mission to cross Crocodile River, save their friend Rhino Reth, scare the nasty poacher and fix Ranger Rom’s leaky roof.

The artwork brings to life the African savanna to the minute detail with a accurate representation of all African animals and fauna from the tiniest termite to the African Wildebeests and unique Umbrella Thorn trees.

Underlying is an important message about animal conservation and at the core the themes of overcoming your fears (and sometimes your pride) and the importance of friendship.

The hard cover will also be released next week.

The book has also been recently adopted by the Field Guide Association of South Africa (FGASA) as part of their activities for the junior FGASA program.

A bit about me…

I was inspired to write the book after 9 months adventures in the African Wilderness completing my field guide and tracker certifications. The book was a powerful avenue for me to share my passions for saving our endangered species and learning about wildlife in a fun way.

Out of the wild, I am still the nature lover at heart, observing the local wildlife from my home town Manly, from the ocean depths as a dive instructor, from the air in a paraglider or from my surfboard.

On the horizon…

We are working to bring to life the very first Ranger Rom animation so keep your eyes peeled. Stay posted by signing up to the Ranger Rom newsletter and receive free content like awesome desktop wallpapers. We are passionate about Children’s literature!
